XRP Surges Past $1.60 as Network Activity Soars

XRP surged past $1.60 for the first time since early February on Tuesday, according to data from blockchain analytics firm Santiment.

The price increase coincided with a significant uptick in network activity, including a record 1,917 large transactions worth at least $100,000 and the creation of thousands of new XRP addresses.

Santiment noted that these whale transactions do not necessarily indicate buying or selling by major holders, as the figure remains relatively small compared to XRP's market capitalization of about $99 billion.
