XRP Surges to Near $1.52 as Institutional Investors Pour in $110.49 Million
XRP is on the rise, reaching near $1.52 this week after bouncing off an intraday low of $1.48. This marks a significant rally for the token, with a 48% gain in the third quarter according to BeInCrypto's October outlook.
The buying pressure behind XRP comes from institutional investors through U.S. spot ETFs, which have seen their largest weekly inflow of $110.49 million, a 177.7% jump from the previous week. This represents the largest weekly haul for any XRP fund in 2026, with cumulative inflows hitting an all-time high near $1.79 billion.
The three issuers responsible for most of this activity are Bitwise's XRP fund, Canary Capital's XRPC fund, and Franklin Templeton's XRPZ product. These funds have collectively pulled in over $1.44 billion in cumulative inflows, with Bitwise's fund leading the way at roughly $542.69 million.
This influx of institutional capital is a significant departure from the typical retail-driven price action seen in XRP. The token's strong performance and growing adoption as a payment rail for machine-to-machine transactions are likely contributing factors to its rising popularity among investors.
