XRP Top 1% Entry Threshold Drops to 43,995 Tokens
The threshold to enter the top 1% of XRP holders has dropped significantly. As of the latest data, the entry point is now just 43,995 XRP, down from about 64,077 XRP in January 2024. With XRP currently trading at $1.54, this amount is valued at approximately $67,753.
The adjustments are not limited to the top 1%. The thresholds for the top 2%, 4%, and 10% of XRP holders now stand at 21,500, 10,010, and 2,091 XRP, respectively. This decline in required holdings reflects a growth in the number of XRP Ledger accounts. Currently, 81,993 accounts meet the top 1% threshold.
The data highlights how the distribution of XRP holdings has shifted, making entry into the top echelons of holders more accessible. The decline in required holdings suggests broader participation in the XRP ecosystem.
