XRP Validators Urged to Finalize Votes Ahead of Major Upgrade
The XRP Ledger Foundation has urged validators to finalize their votes on several amendments before the mainnet activation of the XRP Ledger 3.3.0 upgrade.
According to an update from XRP Ledger Operations, over 60% of network nodes have already updated to the latest v3.3.0 release, with 62.5% ready for the major upgrade and 68.5% of validators also running the latest version.
The foundation emphasized that validators and node operators must update to the latest release before mainnet activation, as those running older versions risk becoming amendment-blocked and requiring at least 80% validator support for readiness.
The XRP Ledger 3.3.0 upgrade includes performance improvements such as reduced memory usage and better node synchronization after XRPL upgrade 3.2.0.
