XRP Whales Flood Binance with $2.5B in Tokens Amid Mixed Market Signals
The cryptocurrency XRP has seen significant inflows from its whales to Binance over the past month. According to data from CryptoQuant, about 1.6 billion XRP tokens have been deposited into Binance's wallets in the last 30 days.
This influx of XRP is the largest since March and marks a significant increase in activity after a period of decline through May, June, and July. However, while these deposits may raise concerns about sell-side liquidity on Binance, they do not necessarily confirm a one-way sell-off without considering other exchange data.
CryptoQuant contributor Arab Chain pointed out that the latest exchange data does not show a clear one-way rush to sell XRP. In fact, the net flow of XRP into and out of exchanges, as well as spot activity and price signals, are all mixed and do not provide a clear indication of market direction.
Binance's reserves have reached their highest level in about 69 days, standing at around 2.62 billion XRP on September 17. While this increase in reserves may be seen as bearish for the XRP price, it is essential to consider all available data before making any conclusions about market sentiment.
