XRP Whales Load Up as Price Hits Two-Year Low
XRP's price has been struggling to regain the psychologically important $1 level, hovering between $1.008 and $1.05 after weeks of stagnant price action.
However, a closer look at on-chain analytics reveals that large holders are using this weakness to accumulate more XRP, while retail investors continue to sell into the dip.
According to Santiment data, wallets holding at least 1 million XRP have increased by 32 over the past three months, despite XRP's market capitalization falling roughly 29%.
This divergence is significant, as it suggests that large holders are using the decline in price as an opportunity to build their positions, rather than abandoning ship.
The Santiment data also points to accumulation among the 10 million, 100 million XRP cohort, indicating that buying pressure extends beyond a single group of whales.
