XRP Whales Load Up on 1.54 Billion Tokens Amid Price Rebound
XRP whales have been buying up tokens in large quantities, accumulating about 1.54 billion XRP over four days since the Senate CLARITY Act setback. The accumulation began around September 15, after XRP dropped to $1.27 following the vote, but rebounded above $1.45 by Friday and Saturday.
According to Santiment data cited by Ali Martinez, the large wallets acquired roughly 1.54 billion XRP, worth close to $2 billion at recent prices. This buying activity has led technical analysts to point to $1.70 and $1.88 as immediate resistance levels, with longer-range projections extending much higher.
Crypto Patel believes that XRP remains above a 'major long-term accumulation zone' on the two-week chart and has reclaimed its broader market structure. His scenario puts $1.70 as the first major resistance, followed by $3, with a longer-term target of $10 or higher. Dark Defender also described XRP's five-wave structure as 'rock solid' after the token moved above resistance that had limited previous breakout attempts.
