XRP Whales Load Up on 1.6B Tokens Amid Market Recovery
XRP whales have been on a shopping spree, accumulating over 1.6 billion tokens in the past two weeks as the market shows early signs of recovery. The price of XRP had dropped to a low of $1.25 on September 16, but then rebounded, reaching a local top of $1.6569 on September 23.
According to data from market intelligence platform Santiment, the whales holding between 10 million and 100 million XRP have increased their cumulative balance by 1.42 billion XRP, or $2.21 billion, in just five days. By the end of September, their cumulative balance had reached a new record of 13.93 billion XRP, worth $20.61 billion.
This accumulation pattern is a sign of confidence in XRP's broader recovery effort among large whales. If the correction persists, this buying pressure could help XRP maintain key support levels.
