XRP Whales Load Up on $2.2B Worth of Tokens, Sparking Fresh Price Brawl
XRP holders have been accumulating XRP at an incredible rate, loading up on approximately $2.2 billion worth of the token over a mere 96 hours. This surge in buying pressure has pushed the price towards $1.50, with some analysts speculating that this level could become support rather than resistance.
According to data from Santiment, large XRP holders increased their combined holdings by roughly 1.54 billion XRP during this period, taking the total from 8.27 billion to 9.81 billion XRP. While this accumulation is significant, it's essential to note that wallet data only shows changes in address balances and doesn't necessarily indicate future buying pressure.
However, there are conflicting signals within the market. CryptoQuant-linked data reveals that approximately 1.6 billion XRP has moved into Binance over the past 30 days, the highest amount since March. This large exchange inflow could potentially increase sell-side liquidity, tempering the bullish sentiment surrounding whale activity.
As a result, the immediate battleground for XRP remains at $1.45-$1.50. If the price manages to break above this level, it would shift attention towards roughly $1.54-$1.55, where another technical resistance zone sits. Should XRP successfully establish support above $1.50, the earlier bullish roadmap towards $1.70 could become more relevant.
