XRP Whales Load Up on $724M Amid ETF Inflows and Security Woes
XRP surged on Friday, rising 4% as whales accumulated $724 million in just five days. According to widely followed crypto analyst Ali Martinez, whales bought more than 470 million XRP during this period.
The accumulation coincides with three straight days of inflows into US spot XRP ETFs, which added $14.89 million on September 24. This consistent buying from both institutional and large-holder wallets suggests demand is building for the asset.
However, a risk worth watching is the recent security incident at Bitget, where $351 million was stolen. The exchange has confirmed that its on-chain cold wallets remain secure, but the incident highlights the need for caution in the market.
