XRP Whales Load Up on Tokens as Price Nears $1.50

XRP has been on an upward trend over the past week, rising nearly 4% in the past 24 hours to trade near $1.44.

This is part of a larger recovery from the altcoin's recent low of around $1.24 to $1.26.

Large holders, or whales, have been accumulating XRP during this time, with Santiment figures showing that they've bought approximately 1.54 billion tokens worth around $2.2 billion over the past 96 hours.

The total amount of XRP held by these whales now stands at roughly 9.81 billion.
