XRP Whales Pile In as Institutional Demand Reaches New Heights
XRP whales have accumulated over $742 million worth of tokens in just five days, sparking interest in how this demand will impact the price. According to on-chain data from analyst Ali Martinez, whale balances rose from approximately 12.37 billion to 12.80 billion XRP, representing more than 470 million tokens.
This accumulation comes as institutional buying continues to support XRP through spot ETFs. SoSoValue data shows continued positive weekly flows, with the products attracting $75.59 million during the week ending September 25 and cumulative net inflows reaching $1.79 billion.
The combination of whale demand and institutional buying puts XRP's price at a critical level. As XRP trades around $1.55, its recent recovery has developed alongside an inverse head-and-shoulders structure on the daily chart, with its neckline sitting close to $1.60.
