XRPL Activates Emergency Update to Fix Security Issues

XRPL developers have released an emergency update, xrpld 3.4.1, to address security-sensitive issues on September 25.

The new fixBatchV1_2 amendment has reached validator supermajority support and is expected to activate on October 9 if that backing remains above the required threshold.

Nodes that have not upgraded to version 3.4.1 by then could become amendment blocked, meaning they would no longer remain synchronized with the network.
