XRPL Commons Launches Grants Program to Drive XRP Ledger Innovation
XRPL Commons has launched a new grants program to support innovation across the XRP Ledger (XRPL) ecosystem. The three-track initiative is designed to accelerate growth and strengthen support for open-source developers, startups, and established blockchain projects.
The first track, Glow, rewards developers for completed open-source contributions, including developer tools, core infrastructure, technical documentation, security improvements, and protocol enhancements. Since its launch in October 2025, Glow has funded 11 projects spanning node management, transaction analytics, and post-quantum cryptography.
The second track targets early-stage teams building on XRPL, combining Make Waves, a 90-day competition rewarding user growth and on-chain activity, with the Aquarium incubator and Early Stage Grants. These initiatives aim to support projects that can demonstrate measurable adoption while providing technical guidance and go-to-market support.
The third track focuses on established blockchain products seeking to integrate XRPL infrastructure. One notable example is LOBSTR, a wallet that recently integrated XRPL through a partnership with XRPL Commons, giving over 1.5 million users direct access to the network.
