XRPL Crushes Record with Over 3,000 Synthetic Transactions
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) set a new record by validating over 3,000 transactions in ledger 106,965,249 on September 13. This achievement was largely synthetic, meaning it resulted from a concentrated workload of 20 submitting accounts making exactly 100 one-drop XRP payments each.
The high-count mainnet result, which reached consensus, limits conclusions about sustained throughput, adoption, and demand for the XRP token. The XRPL community figure @Vet_X0 described the ledger as a new record and suggested that the pattern likely reflected throughput testing.
A closer look at the 3,254 transactions reveals 2,295 successful results and 959 unsuccessful ones. Successful one-drop payments made up most of the successful group, while other transaction types added different forms of activity.
