The XRP Ledger (XRPL) achieved a new record on September 13 by validating over 3,000 transactions in a single ledger. The high-count mainnet result was due to a highly concentrated workload, with 20 submitting accounts supplying exactly 100 one-drop payments each.
Vet_X0, an XRPL community figure, described the ledger as a new record and suggested that the pattern probably reflected throughput testing. However, it's essential to note that this achievement may not directly translate to sustained throughput, adoption, or XRP demand.
The 3,254 transactions recorded in ledger 106,965,249 included 2,295 successful results and 959 unsuccessful ones. The composition of the set limits conclusions about XRPL's capabilities due to its reliance on synthetic traffic.
