XRPL Updates to Address Security Issues Ahead of Key Activation Deadline

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has released version 3.4.1 to address security-sensitive protocol issues tied to the XRP Ledger Batch upgrade.

The update introduces fixBatchV1_2, which sets the default validator vote to 'Yes', and has gained supermajority support from validators.

Validators are facing a deadline of October 9th to approve the activation of both BatchV1_1 and fixBatchV1_2, with support currently above the required level.

Servers that miss this update before activation could become amendment-blocked, losing sync with the wider network and failing to follow validated ledgers.
