XRP's Critical October Week: Will Price Break $1.50?
XRP is set to have a pivotal week in October as several key events unfold. The first major event is the XRP Seoul meeting on October 3rd, which will bring together banks and Ripple representatives.
On October 7th, the Evernorth deal is expected to be completed, followed by the public listing of XRPN, a XRP treasury company on Nasdaq with approximately 473 million XRP on its balance sheet. This development has already seen pre-merger shares jump by 81%.
The upgrade of the XRPL Batch amendment (XLS-56) is also scheduled for October 9th, which will empower the ledger to settle up to eight transactions atomically. Currently, the amendment has over 85% of validators supporting it.
This upgrade could significantly boost the network's capacity, particularly given that the XRP Ledger already processes more than 200 million transactions on average per quarter.
