XRP's Elusive $4 Target: Can It Happen By 2028?
XRP has consistently failed to break through the $4 price barrier despite multiple attempts. The most recent instances were in 2025, when it reached $3.40 and $3.65 respectively, but fell short of its goal.
According to analysts, a $4 price for XRP would imply a market cap of $400 billion, assuming all 100 billion coins are in circulation by 2028. This is higher than Ethereum's current market cap of $330 billion, which some investors find problematic.
The Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) assumes that every single token that can ever exist has already been minted. With a 100 billion coin supply multiplied by a market price of $4, the implied market cap would be $400 billion.
