XRP's Price Slump: Can It Recover and Reach New Heights?
XRP, developed by Ripple, is one of the most successful cryptocurrencies. It's the fifth largest at market cap, with $89 billion in value.
XRP has struggled recently despite positive news. In August, the SEC and Ripple settled a five-year-long legal battle, and the SEC later approved the first spot XRP ETFs. These developments didn't boost XRP's price significantly.
The XRP Ledger is becoming a popular platform for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), with about $460 million in distributed RWAs. This could be another use case for XRP alongside its primary role on Ripple's payments network.
XRP's current price is $1.37, down 52% over the past year. Bitcoin and Ethereum are also down, but not as much. XRP needs real-world adoption to grow in value.
