XRP's Three-Month Streak Puts October Pullback Risk in Focus
XRP has experienced its third consecutive positive month, but this streak is different from previous examples. In the past, XRP's three-month green streaks were followed by an immediate red month. However, in 2026, the monthly gains have been smaller than usual.
In the current cycle, XRP gained 2.1% in July and 30% in August, with a September gain of around 10.7%. This brings the three-month advance to approximately 46.9%. Historically, after a three-month green streak, XRP's price has declined by 18.2%, 29.3%, 39.1%, or 40.7% in the following month.
The biggest difference between the current cycle and previous ones is that XRP's monthly gains have not yet matched the magnitude of expansion seen before historical reversals. The largest historical expansion candles were around 148%, 231%, 273%, and 283%. In contrast, XRP's strongest month in the current streak was August at 30%.
