Share

Xryma Plc is set to launch its regulated euro stablecoin, XrymaCoin (XREUR), on September 3, 2026. The company published its Whitepaper for the issuance of an Electronic Money Token under Article 51 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) and notified the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) on June 29, 2026.

XrymaCoin will be issued to the public through Xryma's website via various payment methods, including Mastercard A2A open banking capability, T2 RTGS, or merchant API. The stablecoin is designed to work like money and will bring together key features of Paidby® Mastercard multicurrency Open Banking, SEPA Instant, and the European Central Bank's T2 RTGS.

Nikogiannis (John) Karantzis, Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Xryma Plc, stated that XrymaCoin is a true cross-border solution that challenges the way stablecoins are perceived today. The company aims to unveil the full benefits and features of XrymaCoin on its launch date.
