Yellow Card Secures $40 Million in Strategic Funding for Stablecoin Expansion
Yellow Card, a cross-border payments and treasury services provider, has secured USD $40 million in strategic funding from investors including SC Ventures by Standard Chartered, Sony Innovation Fund, Polychain Capital, Blockchain Capital, and other backers.
The latest round brings Yellow Card's total equity financing to over USD $120 million. The funds will be used to expand its Global USD Accounts product and broaden the stablecoin payment rails connected to markets worldwide.
Yellow Card provides businesses with access to U.S. dollars through its Global USD Accounts, which allows companies to hold and swap stablecoins, manage treasury functions, and collect or distribute local currencies on domestic payment networks in over 50 countries.
The company has already facilitated more than USD $10 billion in transactions across its network and holds licenses, authorizations, and registrations in 22 jurisdictions. Yellow Card also cited commercial relationships with Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Coinbase, as well as customers including Visa and Western Union.
