Yusko Sees 'Buy' Opportunity in Undervalued Bitcoin

Morgan Creek Capital CEO Mark Yusko says Bitcoin is undervalued and should be accumulated, citing Metcalfe's Law to estimate its fair value. According to Yusko, based on this law, Bitcoin's fair value is $105,000, but it's currently trading at around $75,701. This represents a discount of about 28%.

Metcalfe's Law states that the value of a network is proportional to the square of the number of users. In the context of Bitcoin, this means that its value will increase as more people use it. Yusko notes that Bitcoin has lost 40% of its October high of $126,080 and sees this as an opportunity for investors to buy in.

Yusko also emphasizes the importance of protecting one's wealth over the long term. He points out that 85% of companies disappear within a 30-year period, making it difficult to rely on traditional investments like stocks. Instead, he recommends investing in assets that have historically preserved value, such as gold and Bitcoin.
