YZY Token Tumbles Amid Insider Trading Allegations

Rapper Kanye West's YZY token on Solana reached a $3 billion market cap within 40 minutes after its launch, but concerns over insider trading have caused it to fall to $1.05 billion.

The token was launched through the 'Yeezy Money' platform, which deployed 25 contract addresses and selected one randomly to discourage token snipers.

An analysis of the token's distribution shows that at least 94% of the supply is held by insiders, with one multisig wallet controlling 87% before distribution.

Several traders profited millions while others lost hundreds of thousands buying incorrect tokens. Notable crypto figures such as BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes and leverage trader James Wynn purchased the token despite concerns over insider trading.
