Zama Expands Confidential Access to DeFi Yield Venues with 16 New Vaults
Zama, a confidentiality protocol for onchain finance, has announced an expansion of its confidential access to DeFi's existing yield venues. The expansion includes 16 curated vaults across five curators and five asset classes, including USDC, USDT, WBTC, AUSD, and TGBP. This is an increase from the initial launch with Morpho and Steakhouse in June 2026, which grew from zero to $40 million in TVL within seven weeks.
The expansion offers two types of confidential vaults: hybrid vaults, which provide confidential entry to existing curated vaults; and exclusive vaults, which are net-new confidential-only vaults with no public equivalent. The Zama Swap Protocol has also been launched, allowing depositors to swap between confidential assets without exposing intent or size.
The expansion is a significant step towards making DeFi more accessible to institutional allocators, corporate treasuries, and active market participants. It enables them to access diversified onchain yield without disclosing their holdings or strategies. The Zama Swap Protocol closes the full deposit-earn-swap loop entirely inside a confidential envelope.
