Zama Unveils Confidential DeFi Expansion with 16 New Vaults
Zama, a confidentiality protocol for onchain finance, has expanded its confidential access to DeFi's existing yield venues. The move adds 16 confidential vaults across five asset classes (USDC, USDT, WBTC, AUSD, and TGBP) in partnership with Morpho and five leading DeFi curators: Steakhouse Financial, Armitage by Wintermute, Flowdesk, RockawayX, and Bitwise.
This expansion builds on Zama's previous collaboration with Morpho and Steakhouse, which saw the launch of a confidential USDC Prime vault in June 2026. The new vaults will provide institutional allocators, corporate treasuries, and active market participants with access to diversified onchain yield without disclosing their holdings or strategies.
The Zama Swap Protocol has also launched alongside the vault suite, allowing depositors to swap between confidential assets, including all vault share positions, and cUSDC, cUSDT, cWBTC, cAUSD, and cTGBP, without exposing intent or size. This closes the full deposit-earn-swap loop entirely inside a confidential envelope.
