Zamanat Tackles GCC’s $250 Billion SME Financing Gap with Tokenized Private Credit Fund
Zamanat has launched a $100 million tokenized private credit fund to address the GCC's $250 billion SME financing gap.
The fund, sponsored by Zamanat and domiciled in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), will invest in private credit across the region, targeting strong homegrown companies that lack access to traditional lending channels.
According to Umair Tariq, Founder and CEO of Zamanat, 'Strong businesses across the GCC still struggle to access growth capital despite sound fundamentals. We created this fund to bring institutional capital to these businesses.'
The fund combines a regional private credit strategy with a DIFC fund structure, institutional administration, and digital issuance on ZIGChain.
