Zano Blockchain Rolled Back Amid Inflation Vulnerability
Zano's blockchain was recently rolled back by a month to resolve an inflation vulnerability that allowed hackers to mint an unspecified amount of ZANO and fUSD.
The rollback, combined with a hotfix, aims to restore the chain and maintain a capped ZANO supply.
As part of the recovery process, users will need to update their mobile wallets, while third-party platforms and payment services will audit a month of transactions before reopening withdrawals and deposits.
The team behind Zano has promised to recover affected balances in full, but this may take some time as exchanges verify ZANO transactions.
