Zano Reboots Blockchain After Unauthorized Token Vulnerability

Zano's blockchain has been restarted after a vulnerability involving Gateway Addresses allowed unauthorized tokens to enter circulation.

The team rolled back approximately a month of blockchain history, restarting at block 3,833,000, immediately before Hard Fork 6, which introduced the affected feature.

This means that transactions made during that period will no longer appear on the recovered chain and may need to be reconciled. The team is working to account for any losses and will publish a reimbursement and claims process.
