Zano Rolls Back Blockchain After Unauthorized Tokens Enter Circulation

Zano's blockchain has been rolled back to around a month ago after a vulnerability was discovered involving Gateway Addresses. This allowed unauthorized ZANO and Freedom Dollar (fUSD) tokens to enter circulation.

The rollback invalidates legitimate transactions made during that period, as well as the affected tokens, meaning they will no longer appear on the recovered chain.

Zano's core team restarted the blockchain at block 3,833,000, before a hard fork that introduced the Gateway Address feature. They are working to account for any losses and plan to publish a reimbursement process.
