Zcash Co-Founder Predicts $5,000 Price Target for ZEC by End of 2026

Zcash co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson has set an ambitious price target for the private cryptocurrency ZEC by the end of 2026. Ben-Sasson predicts that ZEC will hit $5,000 within the remaining three months of this year.

The current price of ZEC is around $1,500-$1,600, after reaching a recent all-time high (ATH) of $1680 and entering the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. Its market capitalization peaked at $27 billion.

The latest big-money prediction comes amid strong on-chain activity favoring the bulls. Large players have been swiftly buying up ZEC from major exchanges like Binance, OKX, Kraken, and Gate and transferring it into their private wallets.
