Zcash developers are planning to launch the NU7 update on November 5th.
The update will reduce the block time on the $ZEC network from 75 seconds to 25 seconds.
This comes as the number of shielded transactions reached a record high of 62,379 in the past week, surpassing levels seen since 2022.
A testnet activation is scheduled to start on October 6th.
