Zcash ETF Blasts Past $914M in Assets Amid Price Surge
Grayscale's Zcash ETF (ZCSH) has grown to over $914 million in net assets less than a month after its launch on NYSE Arca. This represents a roughly threefold increase from the $304 to $313 million held by the fund immediately after converting from the legacy Grayscale Zcash Trust on August 25, 2026.
The growth is attributed to cumulative net inflows of between $233 million and $271 million by mid-September, as well as a significant surge in the price of ZEC, which has nearly doubled since launch. The token reached an intraday high above $1,600, while trading volume exceeded $11 billion shortly after the ETF went live.
The fund's holdings grew to approximately 596,269 ZEC, entirely through in-kind creations rather than cash purchases, with DCG International Investments Ltd. contributing roughly 85,705 ZEC. This contribution accounts for a significant portion of total inflows, but even excluding it leaves well over $100 million in outside capital.
