Zcash ETF Sees Assets Soar as ZEC Nears Record High
Zcash (ZEC) has seen significant gains over the past month, nearing $1,200 per token and pushing its market cap above $20 billion. The surge in value has also benefited Grayscale's Zcash ETF (ZCSH), which now holds $463.2 million in assets as of September 4.
The ETF's shares have seen a 7.62% increase in value, closing at $83.77 on the NYSE Arca. The fund's net asset value per share stands at $83.48, within its 52-week range of $3.54 to $84.23. Daily volume has reached 804,728 shares.
The ZCSH ETF offers investors exposure to ZEC without needing a crypto wallet or exchange account. Grayscale's head of index, Steve Vanourny, believes the launch of the ETF is linked to growing demand for financial privacy as AI reshapes financial activity monitoring.
