Zcash ETP Lands in Europe, Charging 2.5% Management Fee
21Shares has listed Europe's first Zcash exchange-traded product on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam. The fund, which trades under the ticker ZCASH, charges a 2.5% annual management fee and is physically backed by underlying tokens held with institutional custodians. BitGo serves as the custodian for the Zcash product.
The listing arrived alongside a companion product tracking ETHFI, the governance token of restaking protocol ether.fi, also carrying the same 2.5% annual fee. The funds launched small: 5,000 securities outstanding, with an initial net asset value of $20.04 per unit and around $100,000 in assets under management.
Zcash has been gaining traction among investors this year, with its price surging by over 2,700%. The ETP listing adds to the growing interest in Zcash, providing a convenient way for traditional investors to gain exposure to the privacy coin without directly buying and managing it themselves.
