Zcash Lobbyist Registered in Washington to Push for Financial Privacy
Zcash advocacy group Pretty Good Policy for Zcash (PGPZ) has made its presence known in Washington with the registration of its first lobbyist, Divij Pandya.
Pandya, who was previously with FS Vector, will lead lobbying, policy analysis, and coalition-building efforts on Capitol Hill.
PGPZ's agenda is broad, covering financial privacy, digital asset market structure, developer protections, anti-money laundering (AML) rules, sanctions, and tax policy.
The group is seeking a $750,000 grant from Zcash Community Grants to cover its first year of operations.
