Zcash Market Cap Nears 2% of BTC as Grayscale Sees Room for Growth
Grayscale's latest analysis of Zcash (ZEC) suggests that despite its significant price increase, there is still room for growth in the market. The report points out that while ZEC has risen from $60 to $1,500 over the past year, its market capitalization remains at just 1.5% of Bitcoin's.
This is not a ceiling for Zcash's valuation, Grayscale argues, citing historical data on other cryptocurrencies like XRP and Litecoin, which have reached much higher percentages of Bitcoin's market cap in the past.
The report also highlights the importance of privacy in Zcash's success. With its use of zero-knowledge proofs to shield transaction information, Zcash is seen as a potential leader in the growing demand for private digital currencies.
