Zcash Price Consolidates Near $1,531 Amid Liquidity Imbalance and Bullish Predictions
The price of Zcash (ZEC) has been consolidating near $1,531.04, down 1.3% over the past 24 hours.
This comes as the asset trades within a narrowing symmetrical triangle formed since the September 20 low at $1,450.
Liquidity mapping shows a significant imbalance in buy-side and sell-side liquidity pools.
A large pool of buy-side liquidity sits below $1,450, while a smaller pool of sell-side liquidity resides above $1,650.
Zcash co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson remains optimistic about the asset's future, stating that he still believes it will reach $5,000 by year-end despite not having an explanation for the current price surge.
