Zcash Price Holds Pennant Breakout as Bulls Eye $1,500
Zcash's price has maintained its breakout above $1,076, despite a recent pullback from its multi-year high of $1,249. The token remains about 8% below that peak and has held onto more than half of the gains made since September 3.
The rally was driven by a derivatives-driven short squeeze that liquidated over $46 million in bearish positions within 24 hours. Forced position closures added buying pressure as ZEC crossed $1,000 and accelerated toward $1,250.
Technical indicators remain bullish, with the daily MACD showing a positive configuration and the Supertrend indicator providing immediate support at $1,076.51. However, momentum is beginning to cool, suggesting that a longer consolidation may be underway.
