Zcash Price Plunges After Reaching Record High of $1,679.83
Zcash's price has been on a wild ride recently, surging to an all-time high of $1,679.83 before plummeting back down to around $1,465.
The coin's monthly chart shows that September was the highest month ever for ZEC, with prices opening near $848 and reaching as high as $1,679. This is a significant increase from 2021's peak of $373 and even November 2025's spike at $750.
A key support level is forming around the $690 to $750 range, which has been tested twice before but was broken through in late August.
The weekly chart shows that prices barely traded through the fair value gap between $516 and $752 on the way up. Under this gap sits a weekly order block covering $466 to $516, which is unlikely to be revisited anytime soon.
