Zcash Shielded Transactions Soar Past 3.2M Amid Firm Price Structure

Zcash's shielded transactions have surpassed 3.29 million, according to data from the ZecHub dashboard.

The majority of this activity comes from Sapling, which has recorded 2,070,024 cumulative transactions and is still leading Orchard in terms of overall activity.

However, Orchard has been catching up quickly since its introduction around block height 1,725,696 during the NU5 upgrade. It has accumulated over 1.22 million transactions, including 1.11 million after spam filtering.

The raw numbers show that while both pools have a significant amount of filtered shielded transactions, Orchard's gap between unfiltered and filtered totals is smaller at around 9.5% compared to Sapling's 14.8%.
