Zcash Soars to $1,388 on NU7 Vote Reinforcing Bitcoin-Style Halvings

Zcash has continued its upward trend, reaching $1,388 on Thursday and increasing by 10.9% in a single day.

The token's market capitalization rose to $22.9 billion, making it the ninth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

This rally comes as a result of the NU7 vote, where coinholders overwhelmingly supported the preservation of Bitcoin-style halvings and other proposed upgrades.

With 98.9% of voters supporting the continuation of halvings, the network's established issuance rhythm is set to remain intact.
