Zcash Surges Above $1,500 on Institutional Demand and Grayscale ETF Inflows
Zcash (ZEC) has maintained its price above $1,500 after experiencing over 40% gains last week. The surge is attributed to institutional inflows and a broader crypto market recovery. The Grayscale ZEC-focused Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF), which tracks the performance of Zcash, recorded $98.21 million in inflows last week, marking its fourth consecutive week of inflows.
The ETF now has $914.53 million in ZEC under management and has seen nearly $250 million in monthly inflows so far. The 200% rally over two months has made Zcash the best-performing crypto, fueling institutional demand.
As a result of this increased demand, Grayscale's Zcash ETF will implement a 3-for-1 stock split to increase liquidity. This is expected to boost adoption as it makes it easier for investors to buy and sell the asset.
