Zcash Surges on ETF Buzz, But AlphaPepe Offers Earlier Entry Point
Zcash's price has surged by nearly 50% as Grayscale advances its proposal to convert the Zcash Trust into a spot ETF on NYSE Arca. This development, combined with a possible institutional purchase of around 200,000 ZEC worth roughly $110 million at disclosed pricing, has fueled demand for the privacy-focused token.
The proposed ETF could create a familiar route for traditional investors, while the institutional allocation would remove a meaningful amount of supply from the open market. This catalyst, combined with the broader crypto rally, has driven Zcash's price up from the mid-$500s to the $800 area.
However, this sharp repricing creates a new problem for late buyers: the token now has a public chart and visible resistance. The ETF remains a proposal, and any delay could cool momentum after such a significant move.
AlphaPepe, on the other hand, is offering an earlier entry point with its AI-powered DEX, AlphaSwap, which scans token contracts, flags risky setups, tracks whale movement, and surfaces trend signals. The project has raised $2.46 million, crossed 11,000 holders, and is approaching its August 26 roadmap reveal.
AlphaPepe's Stage 20 is live at $0.02761, with a bonus drop campaign that gives buyers the chance to reveal up to 200% extra ALPE. This product-led entry before public price discovery begins could be an attractive option for risk-hungry retail investors.
