Zeberg Warns Bitcoin Price Surge May End in Catastrophic 90% Crash

Bitcoin's recent price surge has sparked a heated debate among analysts, with macro strategist Henrik Zeberg predicting a 90% crash after the rally. According to Zeberg, Bitcoin has never experienced a true recession paired with dollar strength, making the four-year halving cycle theory misleading and increasing the risk of an avalanche of liquidity stress that could trigger a massive crypto market crash.

Zeberg's warning comes as price action on the 4h chart shows a bearish trend, with Bitcoin trading below the EMA50 at $77,768.82 yet still within the Bollinger Bands. The upper resistance at $78,648.42 and neutral RSI at 45.61 suggest that any push higher will likely stall before a retracement tests the EMA200 support at $74,481.89.

The MACD death cross at -152.09 reinforces downside momentum, adding to Zeberg's argument that Bitcoin is due for a significant correction. Michaël van de Poppe and other analysts may see the recent price surge as a genuine bull market, but Zeberg's warning highlights the risks of getting caught in a fool's rally.
