ZEC Price Prediction Contract Goes Live on Robinhood Derivatives

The cryptocurrency market has a new prediction contract available on Robinhood Derivatives, LLC, which is set to expire on October 5, 2026, at 8:30 AM EDT. The contract, which is offered through various exchanges, including KalshiEX LLC and North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc., is betting on the price of ZEC (Zcash) at or above $1,331.0451 within a 15-minute window. The outcome will be verified using CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) prices, which are collected every minute. If the simple average of the RTI prices before 8:30 AM EDT is at least the simple average of the RTI prices before 8:15 AM EDT, the contract will resolve to 'Yes'.

Participants in the contract can earn $1 for every contract they own if their prediction is correct. Alternatively, they can close their position before the contract resolves. However, it's essential to note that trading prohibitions apply to certain individuals, including those employed by Source Agencies and those holding material, non-public information on ZEC.
