ZetaChain's native token ZETA is set to migrate from its current Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain to Solana, following a governance proposal that passed with an overwhelming 99.4% support and 58% participation.

The vote was well above the network's 40% quorum requirement, clearing it by a wide margin.

Under the approved plan, ZETA will become an SPL token on Solana through a 1:1 conversion, retaining its same ticker and total supply.

A second governance proposal is still required to define the shutdown timetable, snapshot block height used to calculate balances, withdrawal window for assets tied to other chains, token-claim process, and exchange conversion period.
