ZetaChain Abandons Blockchain for Solana Migration
ZetaChain has made a strategic decision to abandon its Layer 1 blockchain and transition to Solana's ecosystem. The move was approved by ZETA token holders, with 99.4% voting in favor of Proposal 68, which exceeded the required quorum threshold.
The token will convert to a Solana SPL token on a 1:1 basis, maintaining its current ticker and total supply cap. This decision marks a dramatic shift for the project, which had secured $27 million in funding last year to develop cross-chain interoperability solutions.
ZetaChain is redirecting resources toward Anuma, a privacy-focused AI platform that has attracted over 300,000 active users. The platform boasts an encrypted memory architecture and handles one million AI requests across 35 language models.
