ZetaChain Holders Back Solana Migration by Overwhelming Majority

ZetaChain holders have overwhelmingly backed a proposal to migrate their native token ZETA to Solana and begin winding down the Layer 1 network.

The vote, Proposal 68, passed with 99.4% of participating voting power in favor on September 20th at 14:58 UTC.

Participation reached 58%, exceeding the required 40% quorum, while only 0.3% voted against and another 0.3% abstained.

The approved proposal authorizes ZETA's migration to Solana as a native SPL token and starts the process of winding down ZetaChain's Layer 1 network.
